Multiplex Cytokine Analysis
Cytokines including chemokines, interferons, interleukins, lymphokines, and tumor necrosis factors, are all produced by a broad range of cell types. Cytokines have a specific effect on the behavior of neighboring cells by modulating maturation, growth, and the responsiveness of particular cell populations.
Why is multiplex cytokine analysis important?
Traditional disassociated 2D models and organoids lack an intact tumor microenvironment and disrupt the signals crucial to tumorigenesis and drug response. Nilogen’s 3D-EXplore tumoroids preserve these intricate interactions. At Nilogen we provide a broad range of cytokine assay services from single-plex up to 100-plex panels for multiplex cytokine analysis to assess immune activity and drug mediated responses.
Our cytokine profiling service provides an enhanced approach to study mechanisms of action in living tumor tissue.

Scientific Data
3D tumoroids derived from fresh CRC patient tumors were treated with combinations of a checkpoint inhibitor and cGAS-STING agonists. After 48 hrs in ex vivo culture, supernatants were collected and analyzed by multiplex cytokine assay.
